Your strategy will make sure you have the right people on the bus, and the roles and responsibilities of your team members clearly defined. Your strategy will also ensure your bus driver, team leader, knows where he needs to steer the team on the bus.
Your marketing strategy is the most important element of your marketing efforts. We are passionate about delivering a great strategy and assist you to have the right team to achieve your goals.
Over the years we have seen our clients achieve incredible results using search engine optimisation (SEO) or AdWords as their entire marketing plan. Yet, the reality for most businesses, especially products and services that need more consideration before purchasing, require a more sophisticated approach and well thought out strategy.
By understanding your business, we develop marketing strategies that give you the best chance of achieving your business goals.
Each project is unique and establishing and spending the optimum budget is what we call here at Point B Marketing a “Success Factor”. There are a number of Success Factors that need to be in place to ensure the best outcome for each project.
We see it as our professional and ethical responsibility to work with you to establish what your critical success factors are for your next project and not start before all those factors are in place. Don’t worry, we will work with you to establish what you need to succeed and the most cost and time effective way to get there.
I am 31 years young. I am originally from South Africa where I first started studying law. However, after my first year of studies, I realized my passion for business and creative flair didn’t fit with a law degree. In 2007 my family and I relocated to Australia, where I studied business management with a double major in business economics and sustainability.
I am a long suffering Arsenal supporter; we had some golden years 15 years ago :). I have been to two soccer World Cups and was in the final for Spain’s first World Cup triumph in South Africa in 2010.
I am a huge fan of reading and audio books. My favorite authors include Malcolm Gladwell, Seth Godin, Paulo Coelho, Robert Greene and Richard Branson.
First, let’s get the boring stuff out of the way. I was born and raised in Peru. In 2008 I moved to Australia to study Business Communication and Marketing. It was a big decision, I was a naive 19-year-old, thinking it’d be easy as I was doing it with my sister and what could be so hard, right? Wrong!
Moving to a new country, studying, and working part-time to support myself was a lot. But, don’t get me wrong. Not complaining here. I’m actually pretty grateful my 19-year-old-self decided to do such a thing. It gave me resilience, self-belief and an incredible hunger for more. More challenges, more rewarding experiences, more big, scary goals.
After graduating from UQ, I found myself unsure of what I could do with a communications and marketing degree. So I applied to a bunch of jobs and hoped for the best. I got lucky.
I landed a job as a junior SEO consultant, and it opened incredible doors. Now, 5+ years later, I’ve grown beyond the world of SEO, although I’m pretty fond of it.
In a typical day you can find me doing on-page SEO, editing content for our clients, planning content calendars, workshopping marketing strategies, putting inbound marketing campaigns together and so much more.
